What does oil do for the car?

Why do I need to change the oil?
Every time you drive your car, the oil heats up and breaks down. Old oil, lack of oil, and dirty oil can cause several problems and hinder your vehicle’s performance. This is why it’s so important to check your oil regularly – to make sure you have enough oil and to ensure it’s not dirty. After you’ve driven a certain number of miles, it’s essential that you get an oil change. This is true for every vehicle.
