Dont Ever Drive on Overloaded Tires Its Dangerous

Leading tire manufacturers take great pride in making reliable, high quality tires. Their first priority is getting everyone safely to and from their destinations, day in and day out. However, it cannot be emphasized enough that it’s up to you to maintain your tires properly. Remember, they are the only contact between the open road and your vehicle.
Never overload your tires – driving on an overloaded tire is extremely dangerous. Do not exceed the maximum load rating which is displayed on the tire sidewall. Tires that are loaded beyond their maximum capability will build up excessive heat that could result in rapid tire destruction.
Also, don’t exceed your vehicle’s gross axle weight rating. To determine what this is, read your owner’s manual or look at the vehicle placard. If you follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding load and axle weight ratings, you can rest assured that your tires aren’t overloaded.
If you want to replace the original size tires with a different size, make sure that the replacement tires have a load carrying ability that’s equal to or more than the original ones.
Towing a Trailer
Before towing a trailer, ask a tire dealer for advice about inflation pressure and the correct size tire. Air pressure and tire size depend on the size and type of trailer and hitch.
Don’t confuse towing a trailer with driving a car or truck. When you’re towing, everything takes longer – slowing down, cornering, and speeding up.
